Just some random thoughts this week…
My favorite afternoon pick-me-up? A spoon full of peanut butter topped with plenty of (fair-trade) mini chocolate chips! Mmm.
I so appreciate all of your sweet comments and emails after my Pregnancy and Miscarriage, Joy and Grief post. I still need to respond to the comments (I’m a bit overwhelmed by them, in a good way), but thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share in our grief!
After Hurricane Sandy this past week (which thankfully ended up being just a lot of rain for our area), the leaves are pretty much off the trees. I’m so glad we had so much time to enjoy the foliage for the past month or so, and I actually think it’s really pretty with the colored leaves blanketing the ground under bare trees.
I’m so glad to be past the busyness that characterized our September and October. We’re hunkering down to focus on school and enjoy the holidays, and it feels good.
Speaking of holidays…yes, we’re those crazy people who put up our Christmas decorations as soon as Halloween is done. We’ll be doing that this weekend, and I love having them up for a full two months and throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas! {Pictures coming soon.}
Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
