The big girls and I attended a 3-day Classical Conversations Parent Practicum and GeoDraw Camp this week, staying in a hotel for two nights so that we didn’t have to drive back and forth each day. This is becoming an annual tradition that we all look forward to, with fun events during the day and a chance to connect with other homeschoolers from the area plus a really special time in the evening at our hotel.
We enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool, making friendship bracelets, laying on the bed and reading together, but on the second night, we were so exhausted from a poor night’s sleep the night before and the busyness of the practicum that we went to bed at 7:30pm…all three of us!
Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!
