Shannon recently convince me to join her in the #1000miles club. She’ll be walking/jogging/running 1,000 miles in 2013, and I’ll be biking beside her (figuratively) on our recumbent bike. I love the idea of this specific, overarching goal that is both fun and motivating but broad enough that I won’t be discouraged by a missed day along the way. And actually, I only need to do 6 miles every other day or so in order to meet the goal, so that definitely feels doable!
My friend Melanie is joining us as well (yay for more accountability!), and she’s actually tracking her progress on a map. Her goal is to make it to Savannah, Georgia.
Do you want to join us? Just leave a comment here if you’re in, and I’ll have a few check-in posts throughout the year. You can also tag your posts with #1000miles on Instagram!
