Making Cookies

source: mandiehman on Instagram

Merry Christmas! I sincerely hope this weekend is filled with joy and memory making for you, but for those of you who are grieving over the loss of a loved one, struggling with postpartum depression or stressed about finances (among other things), please know you’re in my thoughts and prayers.

I don’t always bake at Christmastime, but this week I found myself with the urge to bake, bake and bake some more…so that’s what I did! Chocolate chip, peanut butter blossoms, candy cane cookies and more covered our counters as the girls and I baked up a storm. I love the picture of our 3-year-old above, staring wistfully at the cookie dough balls waiting to be baked, because that is exactly how I feel about cookies too!

Here are some of my favorite posts from this week. As always, check out what I’m reading to see the other posts that make me stop and think. You’ll find new posts all week long!

Sweet pic! We baked cookies this week too, but only one batch, nothing fancy, just sugar cookies. :)
