One of the highlights of my day today is to go pick up our trial CSA box. Hope to report back on the experience next month!

Don’t forget pick your own! We pick strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples, etc at pick your own farms!

Also, don’t forget to ask! My garden took off this summer and I had some things running out my ears…lettuce, for example. I couldn’t find enough people to take it all and some of it went to see. What a waste! So, if you happen to be out and about and notice a garden that looks plentiful, it never hurts to ask if the person is interested in giving some away (or selling it, maybe).

I’m a magazine-a-holic but only from great subscription deals and using frequent flier miles for subscriptions! I get; The Economist, Inc., Health, Fitness, Food Network, La Cuisina Italiana, Oprah, Lucky, National Geographic and Harpers.

Books – I have a Sony Reader and enjoy books being digital, however sometimes paper books are alright too.

I love magazines! I currently read Real Simple, Good House Keeping, Kiwi, Parents, Martha Stewart Living, Everyday Food, Smithsonian & National Geographic. I get most of my magazines for free or for gifts. The free ones come from answering surveys on websites like http:www.e-rewards.com

I.love.magazines! So much so that I suscribe at the USA and they come all the way to Greece! I happen to think that american deco magazines are the best out there.
Currently come home House Beautiful, Country Living and Veranda. Sometimes I also buy the spanish “El mueble” but it’s a bit expensive.
Fashion wise my favorite is the greek In Style and sometimes Marie Claire
Last year I also really enjoyed Oprah’s magazine so I’m waiting for a special offer.
Whenever I travel to Europe, which is often enough, maybe twice or 3 times a year, I always return home with bundles of magazines.
The british ones are another favorite with the exception of the british House Beautiful that is horrible!

Bargainsbyjc.auctivacommerce.com is the absolute cheapest place to get magazines. i don’t know how I orignally found Jenifer’s mag site, but I have been using it for years and there are no hidden fees and the mags arrive every single time, no prblems. They are practically free! I can’t say enough about it/her. She can also be found on ebay, but they only allow her to list mag subscriptions as magazine gift certificates because of the time it takes for a magazine subscription to be delivered from the clearing house. Enjoy the tip!!!

The only magazine that comes into this house at the full price is The Limbaugh Letter.

I currently get All You & Good Housekeeping,…both by subscription, both at a significant savings over cover price. I’m sorely disappointed that All You is not all that people have raved about. If you get it by subscription, you don’t get all the great coupons. For this reason, it’s merely ‘okay’ in my book, but not worth re-upping. — Good Housekeeping – eh…I practically got it free, but I’m not going to bother with it again.

I also get this Garden magazine with these outrageous gardens & lavish homes. I can’t even afford to look at the ads in the magazine. Somehow I got it free, but it’s worthless to me anyway.

I’m still a paper book girl. I have the free kindle for my pc, but I just can’t get into electronic pages to a great length. My husband had his Bible on his PDA as far back as 2002, but it’s annoying to me. I like flipping pages rather than trying to get a scroll to behave.

Was it fairly easy to make Sonlight fit in with Classical Conversations? Did it matter which Cycle of CC you were in?
