look-backBecause I don’t post on Sundays, each week I highlight posts from this week last year as well as a sneak peak at some of the topics we’ll be chatting about next week! Enjoy!

I really like the Home Management series. I missed those posts last year, but better late than never!

Thanks — I think it’s definitely one of the most popular!

      Have a great week!

I use a hanging file folder system for our homeschool (arranging it week by week and just including all the needed worksheets, directions, etc. right in the hanging file for each week) and I’d be lost w/o it! Not only does it help me stay organized, organizing like that helps me stay flexible: if we have a sick week or get behind, I just move everything from one file into the next week’s and we pick up right where we need to.

After almost 2 years of use though, my files are looking a little rough (and they were recycled from another file system to being with). I may have to check out these sturdier files.

How do you keep papers from “slouching” in a hanging file, especially if the file isn’t full? Am I the only one with this problem? It makes me crazy!

Oh, I heart magazines as welll!!

I prefer to use 3 ring binders with page protectors to slide clippings into with dividers to carry out pretty much the same idea on a somewhat smaller scale. I find that if I file papers in folders I’m less likely to look at them (and wasn’t that the very reason I was keeping them?) :) but with a 3 ring binder it’s more like a book/magazine that I can flip through.
